GENRE: PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR

BUDGET: $10 MILLION

LOGLINE: In an isolated 1940’s mansion, Richard Mason is trapped in a cycle of domestic abuse with a monstrous vampire, forced to find victims to feed its insatiable thirst. When a local woman awakens his humanity and a curious police officer begins to close in on his secret, Mason must find the strength to confront his abuser before he is replaced as its servant and killed..

SYNOPSIS:

It is 1942. For the past year, Richard Mason has found himself trapped in a barren, old mansion, caring for the thing that lives in the cellar below the house - a horrifying vampire, forcing him through psychic and physical torment to seek out new victims for it to feed on.

Mason’s mind is assaulted by this hideous creature, which appears to him mentally as a refined older man, blaming the other ‘persona’ for the violence waged against him. Mason is pushed to the point of madness unless he assists in the murder of innocent people.

Mason obeys but slowly finds he has to fight every day - fight against the noises from the bodies below the stairs that won‘t stay dead, the horrific imagery the creature puts into his head in order to break his will and from the fact that he is in a nightmare he cannot escape from.

Mason soon realises, the monster he's been protecting must die...

GENRE: HORROR-THRILLER

BUDGET: $15 MILLION

LOGLINE: In a dying 1930s English village with only a handful of residents, the isolated pub owner's suspicions grow that one of the villagers may be a bloodthirsty werewolf. As paranoia tightens its grip, their dark past reveals the chilling origin of a lycanthropic curse.

SYNOPSIS:

In the countryside of 1930’s northern England - the secluded village of Wyck is dying and cursed as a consequence of the awful murder the farming community of fourteen men committed some years before.

Isolated from the other bitter farmers, Thomas Pierce, the owner of the village pub, The Harrow Inn is the first to believe that mutilation killings happening over several nights were not the cause of a man but a monstrous werewolf.

It becomes clear that one amongst them is turning into this monster and as the men begin to turn on each other in their paranoia, Pierce discovers there may be someone who worships the beast enough to help it.

As each night passes by with more murders, the few villagers left are besieged within the Harrow Inn - waiting to face the beast themselves.
